Either lack of understanding of the overall security impact or company greed. But nothing compares to TikTok which paid only for one of 3 completely different critical account takeover vulnerabilities (so about $30,000 unpaid), their shady internal practices, extreme monitoring of its users etc. Can’t talk about it in detail due to legal reasons, but avoid using TikTok.
